You are invited to the 41st Annual Bailey Neighborhood Ice Cream Social. It takes place on Wednesday, July 8th, at the Orchard Street Pump House. Come enjoy this wonderful tradition where neighbors get together to savor ice cream that has been hand cranked the old fashioned way (for traditionalists who like it softer -- the rest of us will enjoy the firmer stuff made ahead of time by the Pump House's crack team of artisan ice cream elves) from fixings generously donated by Melting Moments. While enjoying ice cream and treats, children can have balloon animals made by Shenanigans the Clown, get their faces painted, and explore an East Lansing Fire truck. Badminton nets will also be up. At about 6:00 p.m., Smooth Daddy will get everyone feeling funky. This event is open to people from every neighborhood, so invite all your friends! This is also a great time to sign up for, or renew membership in the Bailey Community Association. And please bring a treat - be it savory or sweet, nutritious or not, but surely delicious!
