It is common to see young
families out for a stroll or bike ride and retired couples walking
hand-in-hand along the peaceful, but busy sidewalks. The neighborhood is
home to Al White Park, including a trailhead for the city's 4.5 mile
paved trail, and adjacent to Patriarch Park, including multiple ball
fields, picnic shelters, woodlands and magnificent play structures. It
is also home to Whitehills Elementary School
, which is home to 5th and 6th graders, and part of the award-winning school district.
