About the Neighborhood
The Southeast Marble Neighborhood is a peaceful, safe, and quiet community located in East Lansing. The neighborhood is family-friendly, affordable, and diverse with a wonderful mix of students, seniors, and families. The north side of the neighborhood features many "starter" size homes, though many residents remain in their "starter" for years and years. The streets are lined with mature trees and well-maintained yards. It has an active neighborhood association (SEMCA) which works to sustain and improve those things which make this a safe and pleasant neighborhood for all of its residents.
The neighborhood is close to about every community amenity, including exceptional city services, community events, downtown East Lansing, parks and much more. The neighborhood is also adjacent to two schools in the East Lansing Public School District, including Marble Elementary School and MacDonald Middle School.
