The Oakwood Neighborhood is a peaceful, historic neighborhood located in East Lansing, Mich. The neighborhood is known for its mix of families and students who care for each other, share recipes and tools, and provide a safe and supportive community for LGBT individuals and families.

The neighborhood supports Valley Court Park, downtown East Lansing, and an end to turf monoculture. They like to keep East Lansing weird!

The neighborhood boundaries are Hillcrest, Marshall, Sunset, Southlawn, Forest, Fern, Abbott and Evergreen.
